If you own the PS3 version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, then it’s more than likely you’ve experienced a bug of some sort, and you’ve definitely played through the lag that so often spoils the PS3 experience. It’s a tough road for gamers who really are itching to enjoy Skyrim but are put off by the incessant issues, and to say they’ve been patient with Bethesda would be a gross understatement. So in light of all this, shouldn’t Bethesda compensate the PS3 crowd, maybe even with upcoming DLC?
I think they should – even more so now that the lag fix most likely won’t be part of the game’s upcoming patch, version 1.4.
It’s been an extremely difficult time to be an Skyrim fan on PS3, as said version’s been basically unplayable because of save file issues, and although some problems have been addressed, many bugs remain untouched – and Bethesda’s having a hard time fixing them all.
Skyrim Patch 1.04: Here’s What PS3 Gamers Are Asking For.
There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a great game! We all believe that to be true, and the accolades declare it loud and clear. But Skyrim has been held back because of Bethesda’s carelessness, and gamers, I believe, should be compensated accordingly. What if you went to your local store and purchased a product only to find that it was dysfunctional, wouldn’t you return it? If you bought groceries and later realized that some of the items weren’t properly sealed, wouldn’t you return them? Of course you would – what’s the difference with buying a broken videogame?
We’re not advocating returning Skyrim to your local store, because even that would be a difficult venture, all we’re saying is that gamers, especially the PS3 crowd, has been given a raw deal. They’ve been treated unfairly after paying hard-earned cash to enjoy a game.
Bethesda shouldn’t act callously and neglect fans, the firm should compensate to make up for their shortcomings.

I agree with you 100%. I have played and enjoyed Skyrim since launch, but have also encountered many bugs. The lag issue I fixed by disabling autosaves, but there are at least 10quests that I cant complete due to bugs in the game. I feel that some type of compensation is in order, and not some half arse apology.
Selling a game as complete that has major issues with that make the game almost unplayable is not right.
yes
Agreed with you all. I hope Bethesda act.
They must do something.
