Order Battlefield 3 Through Origin, Get Early Access To Its Beta

In an effort to become the number venue through which PC gamers get and play their games, EA is giving a rather tempting incentive to those who purchase Battlefield 3 through its own service dubbed Origins.

“Players who pre-order the game from Origin will be granted early access to the Open Beta for Battlefield 3 when it goes live in September 2011,” reads the Origin store page, talking up its exclusivity.

According to DICE, there will be two beta testing periods: one by invite-only, and the other for those who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal Of Honor, so this new way to get in might entice many a gamer.

since when is this going up on steam?
aparently the MoH beta and this are the same, and give you 48 hours early access to the open beta in september.
though gotta ask whats the point?
people bought MoH and this is how you thank them?
i thought it would be a week early, or more, but 2 days?
    little disappointing………
