Original Story: Sony and Overkill Software has just announced PAYDAY: The Heist, a title that’ll see a release on the PlayStation Network.
In Heist, you’ll play as a “hardened career criminal” looking for the next big run. You’re allowed to choose between the specialties assault, sharpshooter or support, and will be able to earn weapons and equipment that suit your “preferred for of violence”. You’ll also have the ability to unlock trip mines, silenced pistols, machine guns etc.
You’ll also have three crime partners controlled by artificial intelligence (AI) or by your friends through co-op gameplay. With them, you’ll traverse the game’s universe on six different hell-bent missions. Said missions include: prisoner extractions, and armored car hijackings.
According to Overkill, the game comes ready with “dynamic environments, adaptive enemy behavior, shifting entry points, FBI agents repelling down on ropes through the skylights, SWAT teams crashing through the windows and special units crawling through the ventilation shafts makes each play-through of every heist a unique fight.”
PAYDAY: The Heist will be official unveiled at E3 next week, at Sony’s press event.



hmmmmm, wonder if this has anything to do with heist, had the same plot as this but ended up getting canned after 4+ years of development hell!
