NGP Launching In UK November 11th

3DS is already out in Japan, and is heading west at the end of March. Sony’s NGP, the console many hail as impressive, was set to release late this year in Japan, and early the following year in the West. Sony’s not having it. The giant’s attempting to release NGP on November 11th in the UK, with a U.S. release coming around the same time.

That’s according to MCV, citing its sources, and online leaks. The website says “third party licensees insist that NGP will arrive in Europe this year”, and that “development deadlines have been set to ensure key Western releases are finished before the end of the summer for deployment in the autumn.”

The Next Generation Portable was first unveiled, Sony’s Kaz Hirai said it would begin a roll out of the device in different markets this year.

If true, this is amazing news for gamers looking to get their hands on the device, and with titles like Uncharted and Killzone, plus Call of Duty appearing, there’s no stopping NGP.

Unless Sony kills us with a nasty price. Don’t worry, it’ll be attractive, because Sony’s learnt its lessons.

im not so sure that they have learned their lesson.
they said that about the GO, then charged 150 bucks more then the 3000 for it!
i doubt it will be that early in the month, id say something closer to the 28th something like that.
if it is releasing in jappan in september like rumors have been saying it will take them a while to build back up stock for the rest of na and eu.
others are saying a late november worldwide launch, but theres no way thats going to happen.
as kaz said worldwide launches would be perfect, but sadly we dont live in a perfect world.
they would need to have so many units already made to meet the supply and demand, then once their sold out will be a long, long wait for restock.
id put my money on a JP release around TGS, then a US release mid november and EU late november early december.
