Ubisoft: NGP Price Will Be “Attractive”

by Ernice Gilbert on February 1st, 2011, under Hot, News, Sony, Ubisoft

Ubisoft’s come out and predicted that Sony will price its latest handheld, codenamed NGP, attractively. Adding that the company knows its audience and what’s expected. He also heaped loads of praises on the console, even adding that it has a great opportunity to steal away market from Apple and Android devices.

That’s what Ubisoft’s European MD Alain Corre told CVG recently. He said “The handheld gaming market has fundamentally changed in the last few years notably as more and more people begin to play games on the go with their smart phones.”

“If Sony can capture this huge market – and they do have a unique offer for that market with the NGP – then success will definitely be on the agenda for them.”

NGP will release in Japan this year, with a date for North America and Europe yet uncertain.

so says the company who releases PC games a good 6 months later with no upgrades what so ever!
look at AC2 released a good few months after the ps3 and 360 versions, and everytime i play it i get up to the part where leonardo clips the hidden blade onto you than it freezes!
ACB, a 2011 game is still using DX 9 for crying out loud!
PC games stopped using that years ago!!!!!!!!!!
ubisoft seriously need to get with the times!
there the new $E, they use to be one of the best publishers out there, but now there one of the worst!
first the BS DRM, than the pathetic way they treat their PC fans, the pathetic state their PC games are released, they created my favorite game of the century than completley destroying it with brotherhood!
yup, ubisoft are the new $E alright!!!!!

Talking about Ubisoft, AC: Brotherhood was really enjoyable though… Loved the story – and sets up proper for the next installment.

    what story?
all that happens is you find the temple at and thats about it!
the story was basically a backtrack of AC2s story!
thing that really destroyed it for me was the stealth missions.
the bugs and game freezes i can put up with, but WTF is with the stealth missions?
this is freaking assassins creed not splinter cell!

It could have been better. And that’s true, the story was kinda weak….. I’ll revisit II.
