When the delay of LBP2 was announced, people were obviously disappointment, and in the comments section of this thread, our users frustration was on display.
But there’s an old adage that reckons ‘every disappointment is a blessing’, and the news we’re hearing today will certainly make you feel better about Media Molecule’s decision to push back its game.
The news? LittleBigPlanet 2 will ship with a multi-level PlayStation Move demo that shows you how Sony’s new controls could work with Sony’s new game, according to Eurogamer.
However full PlayStation Move support won’t be added until after January 2011, when the game’s released.
“With the main game there will be an extra game – possibly on another disc, maybe on the same disk – that will contain 10-ish levels that demonstrate how Move could work with LittleBigPlanet 2,” Media Molecule’s community manager James Spafford told the site at the Eurogamer Expo.
And shortly after release we’ll do a full DLC pack that’s purely Move, and we’ll give away the free controls so people can make their own Move levels as well.”
Exciting stuff, they’re really confident in the Move component of the game, here’s to hoping it meshes well.

I can’t wait to see the levels the Community creates (with and without Move).
Indeed. The LBP community’s grown quickly, and some of the stages they’ve made give MM themselves huge competition. Just awesome.
Yeah, a few community members were so good that media molecule actually hired them. No joke. I think the guy that made that beautiful and immensely popular Bora Bora level was one of them.
Wow. Nick you try doing something like that ‘ )
thats nothing new, they said at E3 LBP2 would have some levels compatible with move.

MM are really going to struggle next year, even in jan theres allot of games coming out which will take preference over this.
ill still get it because its one of the only true side scrolling platformers out there, a classic genre which is sadly dying.
It’s a MUST buy for me.
