Now that’s a nice treat from Ubisoft, although the publisher will be the one profiting here, but that’s all part of the give and take. As we speak, the company’s in the process of remastering Beyond Good And Evil, the classic adventure game will see a release in 2011 on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.
IGN said the remastered game will run at 1080p resolution and feature updated character models, higher-resolution textures and a remastered soundtrack, along with Trophies and Achievements.
When Beyond Good And Evil was released back in 2003 on Gamecube, Xbox, PS2 and PC in 2003, it instantly became a hit, building a strong and relentless fanbase that’s been crying for a sequel ever since this generation began.
We ran a few rumors on the subject, too. Apparently, Ubisoft’s already hard at work on the game, the remastered version set to be released is proof of that.
