The folks at Rockstar are the best at what they do, and they’ve yet again came up with a brilliant idea to celebrate the North America release of Red Dead Redemption. What’s it you ask?

The “Kill A Rockstar” competition officially began yesterday and will run until June 1st. Here’s the deal: try and take a break from the amazing single player mode of Red Dead Redemption, head online and try to spot a Rockstar employee. When you’ve spotted one, aim for the head and take em out. Execute successfully and you’ll earn a prized Trophy/Achievement dubbed “Red Dead Rockstar”.
Also, you can earn the this by taking out someone who’ve already taken out a Rockstar employee. It works like a continued string of success.
For those who are already enrolled in the Rockstar Game Social Club and can manage to accomplish this, you will be automatically entered into a drawing for the chance to have your likeness grace a unique Multiplayer character in upcoming DLC. Amazing isn’t i?! Yes indeed.
Now you might be wondering how on God’s earth will you be able to recognize the Rockstar employees right? It’s pretty simple, there are roughly 26 of them online and they all have PSNIDs/GamerTags with the name “RedDeadDev”. So you might see RedDeadDev15, or RedDeadDev20 etc.
