Demon’s Souls has seen its popularity went from zero to chart topping in weeks. When it was first released, no one payed attention, but as soon as the reviews started whirling in, everything changed.
It’s since then built a cult-ish following, with fans across the world waiting for a sequel to be announced.
That sequel you’re looking for might as well be Project Dark.

“The fire will disappear,” the caption in the trailer reads, “only dark will remain.” Then a protagonist is seen fighting creatures with a sword, which reminds me of Demon’s Souls.
