Chaos At Infinity Ward, Studio Bosses No Longer Employed

And you thought the ApocalyPS3 was crazy? It’s not over; the weird happenings in the industry continues. Call of Duty developer, Infinity Ward, is up in smoke as we speak.

According to G4, “a source close to the developer” said that Infinity Ward studio heads, Vince Zampella and Jason West met with Activision ealier today, and then left the building. Not too long after, “a bunch of bouncer-types” arrived in the office.

Soon after, G4 updated their story with a new discovery. Apparently, Activision hinted at this news earlier today in a line meant to reveal what’s going on deep in an SEC filing.

“The Company is concluding an internal human resources inquiry into breaches of contract and insubordination by two senior employees at Infinity Ward. This matter is expected to involve the departure of key personnel and litigation.”

G4 says that at least one of the senior employees mentioned is Jason West, since it’s now obvious he’s no longer employed at Infinity Ward.

If we’re to go by the line from the SEC filing above, it’s clear there will be lawsuits involved, hence the reveal of more information in coming times.

Below is an image taken from Jason’s Facebook, (via NeoGAF) with a status update that reads, “Jason West is drinking. Also, no longer employed”.
