Everything Must Come To End, It’s Now Safe To Play Your PS3 (Updated)

[UPDATE] Sony has just confirmed the fix.

Original story: Good news to report Gamesthirst, PS3 owners around the globe are now reporting that their systems are working. My own is also running great, just booted up Assassin’s Creed II and it’s working like a dream. So is all well? Yes it is, but Sony has yet to official release a statement with confirmation.

They will soon enough.

This was the most devastating PSN situation Sony has faced to date; and by the look of things, it’s coming to an end indeed.

Go on, turn on that console, boot up a game, and play your heart out, I’m tired of writing about this.

We’ll update this post as soon as Sony releases an official statement.

    Perhaps Sony is really Skynet, soon the PS3s all around the world will rise againts mankind…
    Or maybe they won’t

    BUT STILL

    Kinda odd that the consoles would turn on by themselves huh? suspiciously odd.

    Odd and weird I know. They did say however it was a clock malfunction that stopped the PS3s from working but still…

    Kind of strange.
    My PS3 clock is actually on March 1st, though today is March 2nd.

    Also, it’s having issues signing in to PSN, I can play Mirror’s Edge, but it hasn’t signed onto PSN network, and just sits there “thinking”.

    @Ernice:
    It finally connected. I had to go into settings and do an internet connection test.

    After it did that, it connected like it was supposed to.

    That’s good to know.
