Tales of Xillia 2 has been announced for PS3, along with a new trailer and some screenshots. Details inside.
The game will see a release this winter on PS3, however it’s actually release date will be revealed on June 27th.
Some Details:
- The main character is Rudger Will Krusnik (Takashi Kondo), the heroine is El Mel Mata (Mariya Ise).
- The game is set a year after ToX, in Elenpios.
- The character designs this time are by Daigo Okamura, a Bandai Namco illustrator and art director on the Tales series.
- Realistic proportions, third person camera, story decisions with branching cutscenes, etc.
- The battle system uses a weapon shift system where Rudgar can change in realtime between twin blades, a hammer, and twin pistols. Very fast paced and action packed.
- Animation by Ufotable once again, with Ayumi Hamasaki contributing to the theme song once more.
