Nintendo has just turned the internet on its head by announcing that unlike the now updated Wii U Gamepad, there’ll be a traditional controller for the upcoming console dubbed Pro Controller. This has the potential of being a game changer.
At first glance, the Pro Controller looks like a mix between the Xbox 360 and the Wii’s Classic Controller Pro, but my goodness, the thing looks mighty good.
Nintendo didn’t offer more much details, but we’re sure it’ll be an optional extra.

hm, it looks good but the joy sticks are kinda positioned funny
i hope this does not mean some games wont use the gamepad that should be compulsory for EVERY game!
nice to support both, but the whole point of the wiiU is the special gamepad!
interested to see more on its NFC capabilities.
