Spy Hunter Announced For PS Vita And Nintendo 3DS, Reveal Trailer Inside

Warner Bros has announced Spy Hunter, a racer for PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Find more details and the game’s first trailer inside.

“Spy Hunter’s classic gameplay has been upgraded to give PlayStation Vita and 3DS players a new, adrenaline-charged experience,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “Gamers now have more choice in the transformation and customization with greater hand controls, brilliant graphics and enhanced action cameras.”

The Interceptor seamlessly transforms from supercar to off-road assault vehicle to speed boat, allowing players to go where they like within the game’s branching mission tracks. Players can choose to outfit and upgrade the Interceptor’s many weapons and high tech gadgets as they like throughout the course of the game. And for the first time, the Agent will have additional support in the form of an unmanned aerial support drone, allowing players to plan their destruction when assaulting enemy agent strongholds. Spy Hunter also features thrilling crash choreography and a camera system that follows the action in slow motion to let players savor the destruction they created.

Franchise History:

On the eve of the franchise’s 30th anniversary since the original Spy Hunter was released to arcades in 1983, the new Spy Hunter races forward on its most thrilling and dangerous ride yet. The player once again takes on the role of the “Agent,” the driver of the high-tech G-6155 Interceptor supercar, armed extensively with advanced weaponry, and ready to take on a global terrorist organization set on world domination.

  • TheGrimOfDeath

This, hopefully, will be an awesome game.
I remember playing this on my PS2 and it was GREAT! I had no idea what or how to play, but after a while I started to learn and then I finally finished the game! Ahh great times with that awesome spy-high-tech car.

wish someone would port time crash 4 the syndicate over to the vita too.
not exactly the best game out there but it would be perfect for the vita!

  • TheGrimOfDeath

Sir you now have risen up my likability chart by 50% for mentioning that awesome game.

  • TheGrimOfDeath

Also I would love another Pursuit Force game for the Vita. NO TOUCH CONTROL SHIT. JUST NORMAL CONTROLS WITH DEEP STORY LINE AND AWESOME GRAPHICS.

  • benzo

@Grim…Pursuit Force Vita would be the S**T!!!!!

  • TheGrimOfDeath

Thanks Benzo. I always had this idea that when the PS Vita came out that they would make a PS Vita Transformers game. And it’s completely free-roam with awesome graphics, but the twist is that you could use the PS Vita’s camera to scan a car
(in real life, 360 degrees) and then that car would now be your transformer. Dope Right? Also for jets and heli’s that would just be in game and you use your transformer to scan it.

@Grim…bottle that idea and send it to Sony because that would be an insanely awesome use of the Vita…you are cut from the same cloth as I GT fam!!!

  • TheGrimOfDeath

@benzo: Meh i’m just a 14 year old kid who lives in the Middle East what can I do? I love Sony, but I don’t think I could be that much of an influence. If you want to send them the idea, just give me credit. XD
