Assassin’s Creed 3 delivered a killer punch to all other games on the UK charts last weekend, as it roared past WWE 13 and FIFA 13 and in the process became Ubisoft’s biggest launch to date.

just finished it last night, god what a underwhelming ending!
and everyone threw shit at the fan because ME3s ending, i cant wait to see what the reaction to this is!
ubisoft know how to tease, oh so well, but they SERIOUSLY need to take classes on how to tie things up!
Correction: the worst AC game was Revelations. personally i actually like desmonds ending. but i liked connors ending way more.
oh come on revelations was WAY better!
it still had everything the series was famous for, and added some awesome additions like bomb creation and the hookblade.
not to mention it had WAY more stealth missions than what AC3 did!
not to mention it was allot longer!
revelations took me almost 20 hours to finish just the main campaign, AC3 i finished in 13.
revelations story was allot better too, much easier to follow.
both connor and desmonds endings were crap!
desmonds was so anticlimactic and leaves so many things open still, what happens to the rest of your team?
why dont you ever get to see desmonds mother?
what was that machiene and how did it protect the earth?
what ended up happening to minirva and that, how are they talking to you?
its just so stupid, everything just happened because it happened nothing is explained.
the story is so thin and basic you would expect it out of a freaking kids playschool book!
at least ME3s ending had meaning, it explained things, and asked a greater question.
as for conor, what happens to the black guy who trained you?
not to mention how disappointing and anticlimactic the last 2 assassinations are.
so pissed off at ubisoft, we have been waiting for answers for 4 freaking years now, ever since AC2 released, and they answer them like this!?
forget the gameplay, just on story alone this is by far the most disappointing AC!
then counter in the simplified and basic gameplay, and the ridiculous frustrating bugs, just make it even worse.
Dude bomb creation and the hookblade are probably some of the worst additions to come to the AC franchise. It felt like ubisoft was running out of ideas and just threw random crap in the game. btw just because the story was longer did not make it better, it was the most boring AC out of all of them if you ask me. i’ve gone through each AC twice or more, revelations i played once and never got through it again.
As for your questions
- it pretty obvious desmonds team went into hiding since desmond told them to get far way from the temple as possible. They’ll probably end up in the next game since they gotta help with stopping juno
- who cares about desmonds mother , thats like saying lets bring in lucy’s fathers. she serves really no purpose to the series at all.
- the machines or temples (whatever you want to call them) never protected anyone because they couldn’t make any of them work then the first disaster struck .
- the way Minerva and juno are talking to desmond is because when desmond is synchronized with the memories of his ancestors his mind enters a sync nexus which is a disruption in time. Basically desmond is speaking to them from his time and Minerva and juno are speaking to him from their time. which explains why Minerva and juno appear as holograms to desmond and why desmond can hear them and not his partners.
- if you finish the homstead missions you find achilles dead in his chair and you have to bury him, you find out that he named you conner after his dead son.

as i said the ending for AC3 is the ending you would expect from a freaking preschool fairlytale book!

the only assumption is what happens to Desmonds partners, you should know that every AC game ends with a cliff hangar how is this any different? this game was supposed to end desmonds story not his partners who knows what ubisoft have in store for them. we’ll probably find out in the next game. btw i never complained about ME3′s ending nor have i ever played that game in general so your gonna have to take that up with everyone else who thought the ending was horrible. i speaking solely on AC.
