Rumor Water: Nintendo Working On New Home And Handheld Consoles Called Fusion

This is rumor water, so drink sparingly, but it appears, as per Nintendo News that, in light of Wii U’s dismal showing and Nintendo’s flailing quarterly results, that the company is simultaneously developing two powerful consoles: a handheld called Fusion DS and a home console dubbed Fusion Terminal. Specs were even released as part of the massive supposed leak, revealing two insanely powerful next-gen machines that Nintendo hopes will change its fortunes.

The codename of the console makes sense, as Nintendo owns the domain: Nintendofusion. However the origin of said domain stemmed from the Nintendo Fusion Tour — a touring rock music and video game festival sponsored by Nintendo of America. The tour began in 2003, which explains the date of the domain name purchase.

So two new powerful consoles MIGHT be coming from Nintendo. One a handheld and the other a machine to be placed underneath your TV. Apparently they’ll work seamlessly as one unit, a la PS4 and PS Vita — and maybe even better. What do you guys think? Would you buy a newer, more beastly Nintendo home console?

    It’d be bullshit if this was real, I heavily invested myself in a 3DS and WiiU in the past couple of months and I’d feel betrayed if the Big N decides to pull support for two great consoles so soon.

    4.6 TFLOP GPU? There is no way Nintendo is developing a system twice as powerful as the PS4. They are daft, but they aren’t crazy. It just doesn’t add up

    Taking a look at the specs, whoever wrote this article is a retard and can’t tell rumors from lies. That, or, they’re just view whores.
    You don’t have to worry. Nintendo won’t betray you. Sega tried that with their console and look where it took them. Nintendo is smarter than that, so expect a good 5 or 6 years with the Wii U and 3 to 4 before an updated model of the 3DS comes out, and probably 6-7 before a new DS is out!

This is the very same reason I got pissed at Nintendo in the 90′s and said, fuck Nintendo……… fuck those dirty assholes!
