Games Thirst – Amazing Life
For some reason it was believed that the console did support the feature.
That’s according to the PS4 online user guide (spotted by TheSixthAxis). Though DVDs and Blu-rays are fully supported and CD support is to be patched in, the “Playing video on disc” section of the User Guide says that 3D Blu-rays are not supported.
What makes this strange is that the PS3 supports 3D Bluray just fine, so it beats us why PS4 isn’t supporting this feature at all — not that it’s a big deal, but still.
Sony said it’ll patch in the functionality post launch for 3D Bluray playback, as well as CDs and MP3s.
