It’s been a mystery as to whether Sony would release PS4 in Europe in tandem with the U.S. and Japan, however new sources have confirmed to CVG that Sony would do whatever it takes to make sure PS4 is released in Europe this year.
This follows claims that Sony would release the console in Europe in 2014, however with signs showing that Microsoft is willing push for a “win” in Europe aggressively, Sony would be ill-advised to give up territory by allowing Microsoft to release its next Xbox there first.
If it’s indeed true, this is good news for our European counterparts, but will there be supply issues? You can bet your bottom dollar there will be. Preorder your units, guys, things will get ugly in November.
