Battlefield 3 Premium Sees 800,000 Subscribers In Two Weeks

EA’s announced that it’s COD Elite-like effort dubbed Battlefield 3 Premium has racked up 800,000 subscribers in just under two weeks.

“We are very pleased with the performance so far,” EA exec Patrick Soderlund told USA Today.

BF3 Premium offers early access to all the game’s DLC amongst other benefits, for the asking price of £39.99/€49.99 and US$49.99.

EA isn’t sure about the service’s success just yet however, therefore it’ll wait for more results before moving forward.

“We’re actually only two weeks into it, so it’s a little early to tell how this is going to pay off. It certainly it looks very promising right now,” replied Soderlund.

    i dont mind the season pass thing, pay say 70 bucks for all the DLC.
    just saving money does not hurt anyone.
    however when they start bringing in timed exclusives, unfair advantages and exclusive events is when i take issue.
