On Thursday, Get Ready For God Of War IV

The way I see it, every other hack-n-slash game should pack up and run because Kratos is back.

I’m sure you’ll remember last week’s obvious God of War IV tease by Sony itself, promising fans a reveal dealing with “vengeance” and “redemption” to be announced on April 19th, that’s this coming Thursday. Now, IGN’s gotten hold of a screenshot said to be taken in a game store in Johannesburg, South Africa, showing not only advertisements of God of War IV, but the poster also talks about preorders – this means the game is closer to release than we thought. I’m think March of 2013, as is the case with God of War games.

It’s still a rumor, to be sure, but Sony’s once in the past leaked the game on its Facebook page only to have it be speedily deleted, however someone managed a screen-grab.

Thursday it is, then.

definitely fake GOW is NOT a shooter!
well i at least hope its not……..
after seeing what $ony did to playstation move heroes and ape escape sadly nothing would surprise me!

ehhhh these days companies are infected with sequel-litus. developers just don’t take risks and chances on stuff anymore. Activision is partly to blame for that. they set an example that you can release the same crap for years and still make money out of it.

but to be quite honest i don’t think this is gonna be GOW IV. this looks more like Heavenly Sword 2, if you look at the back of the first heavenly sword case it says and i quote ” Beyond Revenge, Lies Redemption.” now “Will vengeance bring redemption?” that sounds pretty similar to that.

could be, they released on facebook a few days ago asking fans what weapons these were and which series they belonged to.
narikos sword was one of them, so maybe that was a gauge and hint to see how much interest there is for it.
if it is heavenly sword 2 i hope its for the ps3.
no game has dropped my jaw as the original!
we have had pretty games, but we have not had anything on the scale of the original!
my jaw hit the floor in the final battle where the camera pans out and you can see a massive field filled with warriors.
for its time it was dam freaking amazing, and still is!
