Microsoft Planning To Further Monetize Xbox Live For The Holidays

Microsoft Planning To Further Monetize Xbox Live For The Holidays

Microsoft’s hoping to make more money on Xbox Live come Christmas, making known it through the Linked In page of its group product planner Praveen Rutnam that plans to implement a strategy which will “further monetize” the Xbox Live subscriber base “for holiday 2012″ are underway.

Now, we know not whether MS is upping the price on Xbox Live itself, or whether it’s a strategy to provide new items that would cause an uptick in sales on the venerable service, so don’t lose your cool just yet.

Thanks, Supererogatory.

probably adding new features, every june the past few years they have been adding some useless crap .0000001% of their market base will use!
which is why i really get annoyed when i see things like this.
yea i really spent 500 bucks on my 360 so i can watch netflix M$!
wouldent the time and money put into getting these features accross be better put on what your fans really want?
a exclusive thats not halo, gears, or kinect restricted!
same goes for $ony, no one buys a GAMING console to watch TV!
    or movies!
    or to access twitter!
only if they would get that through their thick skulls!!!!!!!!!!!!
