Sledgehammer Hiring For Xbox 720, PS4 Call of Duty

Sledgehammer Hiring For Xbox 720, PS4 Call of Duty

A you ready for a bolder, more realistic Call of Duty? Then tie your waists, warlords, because Sledgehammer’s already working on the next generation COD experience, and we’re sure it’ll be on a brand new, massively powerful engine.

The news comes to us courtesy 360 Magazine, citing a job listing posted on the studio’s website, confirming that Sledgehammer’s actually hard at work on the first next generation Call of Duty experience.

Now, we’re not surprised at all by this, but what would be shocking is if Activision allowed only Sledgehammer to helm that game. Chances are they’re helping Infinity Ward craft the new title, one we hope will be on a new engine…

…Because there’s now way they’d bring a 2005 engine into what’s looking to be the last and greatest generation of gaming: the eighth, right?

one would assume its the vita title, but then why would a 360 mag be pointing out a vita title?
unless their making the assumption “next gen” means the next xbox or ps4.
eh, whatever it is im expecting MW3 with slightly better graphics and slightly bigger areas.
antivision has always sold the same can of tuna and its broke sales records, so why create a new one?
as the saying goes, if it aint broke dont fix it!
