Gran Turismo 5XL Leaked, Might Be True Extra Large Affair

Last week a new, a mysterious version of Gran Turismo 5, dubbed GT5XL appeared on a number of venerable online retailers including Amazon, Newegg and Buy. Now, we’re assuming this isn’t some sort of DLC packed, Game Of The Year-type version of the game, but rather a full blown extra large offering of the original title. I mean, what else could it be?

Of course, Gran Turismo XL might simply be the western version of Gran Turismo 5: Spec II, so until PD comes out and clarify, it’ll be a guessing game.

It’s listed on Amazon for $39.99 USD, and will ostensibly go on sale come January 2012 in the U.S.

    True. It would be the “True” GT5 we’ve been waiting for, with all the DLC and for a discounted price.

    it will be the westernized version they released a while ago.
    its a shame not many publishers do this with there games, allot more people would end up playing the DLC, thus encouraging them to buy more if they did a disk based version first.
    some of us dont live in japan with unlimited download usages you know?
    heaven forbid if you live in AU for instance, and 98% of the population is restricted to a 15GB download usage max!
