Rumor: Uncharted 4 Already Under Development

Yep. Nathan Drake lives on.

A new job listing posted on linkedIn revealing that Naughty Dog’s working on a new project, one that requires workers who are skilled at “producing engaging and fun third-person action gameplay and levels.”

The listing refers to “planning, level layout, setup and tuning of single-player levels, from high concept to object placement and scripting”, all of which are a part of the Uncharted design.

Uncharted games take about 2yrs to develop, so it’s not surprising that a new game is already underway. But could it be something else? Could it be a new Jak & Daxter, while Naughty Dog work on Uncharted 4 for PS4? That’s my guess at least.

    shoot even even they make a thousand uncharted’s ill buy them all. there talent is incredible, great narratives, cinematics, visuals, gameplay, & online experiences have made them by far one of the best developers this generation in my opinion. i’d say they rival quality that of kojima.

    id put my money on J&D4.
    theres so many fans screaming for the series to come back, and after $ony giving sly the return i cant see them ignoring the cries for a new J&D game.
    so only a short amount of time till we get a syphon filter sequel!
