Santa Monica Working On New Open World IP

At Sony Santa Monica, the devs do not sleep.

The studio’s apparently working on an unannounced IP that’s said to be open world.

“Experience in designing or contributing to the development of an open world game is a plus,” reads the ad.

We know God of War 4 is under development at Santa Monica, so this could be the game, or maybe something else. We’ll keep you posted.

    open world?
    looks like the rumours of them doing HS2 are about to be proved true!
    oh please say its so, HS is by far the generations best new IP!
    was so disappointed when NT said they were done with exclusives, thus done with this.
    though come to think of it that was a god send!
    there not exactly very good at advanced combat systems, which is the exact reason why im so worried about DMC.
    though sony SM are so they should bring exactly what this series needed!

    one can dream.
    though it says unannounced new IP so that means it cant be HS.
    id LOVE to see sony SM do a take on HS though, a new IP but enfused with the gameplay and style of HS.
    they especially need the massive open battles towards the end, i cant believe no game has had as many enemies on screen as HS!
    those last battles dropped jaws everywhere i cant believe developers have not replicated them!
