Rumor Water: Resistance 3 MP Will Require New “PSN Pass”

There’s an unverified pack shot image of Resistance 3 making the rounds on the internet now, showing the game’s online component will feature an online pass system. It’s apparently dubbed “PSN Pass”.

The pack shot was apparently spotted by German website konsolentreff. The pass comes bundled with a 320GB PS3/Resistance 3 package, however no further details were released.

This would follow EA’s online pass system known as the “EA Pass”, and Rockstar’s own version dubbed “The Rockstar Pass”. The online pass system is a way for developers to prevent gamers from purchasing secondhand copy of their games, saving and making money in the process.

Resistance 3 will come out early September exclusively for PS3.

    @ nick as long as the term “money grubbing” exists… it may not go away.. it may take other forms take for example releasing dlc two days after a game has been released.. just be slightly happy they have not gone reached tht point yet
