Single Player Won’t Take Away From Multiplayer In Battlefield 3, Says DICE

If you’re not into single-player, don’t worry, DICE has something for you. If you’re into single-player, however, but multiplayer is just not your cup of tea, rest easy, the developer’s also got something for you. Whether it’s single or multiplayer, DICE says Battlefield 3 will cater to just about everyone.

“Most people that hate singleplayer are the ones that love multiplayer. That’s fine – you don’t have to play it,” DICE’s executive producer Patrick Bach told Edge.

“We want the product to cater for the people who do like singleplayer and also the people who like multiplayer – and we are adding co-op, too – trying to fill the gaps all the way from the hardcore full-on Conquest mode, to the narrative-driven singleplayer.

People just have to understand that we aren’t taking people away from one thing or the other. We’re just making the product bigger.”

I am actually more concerned about the multiplayer taking away from the single player. Too much focus in on online mutliplayer in today’s games…and we are seeing shorter and shorter single players.

ok, seriously DICE if you spent as much time making the game as you did talking about it the game would of been out by now!
