A wise man once said ‘no one man can succeed alone’. He needs help, people to give him counsel and that extra hand that’s like a guide when the going gets tough. He was right, and still is today. From Google to Facebook, and Twitter to the old dog Microsoft, no one man finds success, there must be help, a partner, a friend.
Throughout my time on Gamesthirst, ever since the site was forged back on January 1st, 2010, there have been many a people who’ve stepped in and lend a hand along the way, and to them I say thanks. More importantly, however, I’d like to point out the team here at GT who help make the site what it is today. Without them, we’d never be where we are, and thanks to these guys, the future looks bright.
Joshua, you came along promising only to do reviews, but your role has evolved into much more than just that, thank you. Joseph, you only recently came aboard the team, but your worth is indelible to our success, thank you. Dean, no one writes an article as clean and clever as you. It’s the weekend, friends, tell me, what else is new?
For me, it’s rather mundane: an early meeting to discuss some business with a partner. And later I think I’ll get into some single player action. Uncharted 2. I really want to purchase Portal 2 so I might do that, and I’ll be dreaming of PSN’s return.
Other than that, I’ll probably check out a movie, and on Sunday it’s Church, of course.

im just getting over the week from hell after being ill for nearly two weeks, i have had to put in 12/13 hour days to catch up, to keep my customers happy. spring and summer being my busyiest times……ssooooo this weekend im gonna kick back enjoy a bit of writing a bit of gaming and time with my family……….
went to go visit a old school friend today, was nice to catch up have not seen him in years!
i got a text from toshiba yesterday saying my laptop was ready for pickup.
surprised how quickly they fixed it, took it into them on wednesday and friday just after lunch its done!
took less then 2 days!
only wish everything was that quick!
hopefully will be able to pick it up on monday, which will be the perfect oppertunity because my teachers on easter leave so i finally got a week to myself!
really want to get back to that game i was making last year, i just got started on the animations so hopefully this week i can get back to that permitting my laptop letting me………
not sure if i should wait and see how it goes, or sell it while its working.
stupid thing has given me so many headaches!
pretty disappointing, you spend 3.5K on a laptop you expect it to last a little longer then 4 months!

I’ll be playing some outdoor sports this weekend: soccer, basketball and tennis. PSN is still down so I’ll just watch Netflix as usual and play some SP games.
I’ve been playing Uncharted 2 – still awesome. I love soccer! but haven’t played in a bit, and I went to the beach with my wife yesterday…. Good times!

only bad thing is there really hard to find, been looking for days and I’ve only been able to find them on ebay, but i don’t want to get it from there because it may not arrive, i could have warranty issues, or it could get damaged in transit.
a friend of mines a rep for ASUS might see if he can get me one, and of corse a staff discount while he’s at it.
