The world’s about to end, folks. The elusive, the legend, the game that was not supposed to be, will finally see a release happening on May 3rd, in the U.S., and on the 6th of the same month everywhere else.
And no, you’re not dreaming. Head past the break.
Gearbox just made the announcement via GI, ending a delay cycle that’s lasted for over… wait for it…. 13 years. The news game first via twitter last night, with Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford asking fans to check out GI in the morning.
Here’s 2K boss, Christoph Hartmann:
“The moment fans all over the world have been waiting for is almost here,” he said.
“May 3, 2011 marks Duke’s return as he unleashes his brash and brutally honest wit on the world. His return is going to be epic and one that will make video gaming history!”
Finally, Duke Nukem: forever will be released. I can’t even believe it’s happening.
The pigs are flying, folks. Look up and gaze.
