Or maybe it’ll be something else, maybe he’ll just try something “new”.
See, when it comes to mastermind and videogames industry brainchild Hideo Kojima, it doesn’t take much to start a conversation. All the man has to say is “maybe I’ll do Metal Gear Solid 5″ and the internet’s already up in smoke.
He also joked during a MGS cosplay showing, saying: “It’s 5! Shall we make 5! With this, I won’t have to quit Konami. I’ll be there for three more years.”
But should he? In the past, Kojima’s said he’d love to work on something new, but given the demands of the MGS fans, it’s a hard thing to do. But why not let one of the industry’s great talent venture out into the unknown and forge fresh gaming experiences?
The way I see it, we all would benefit immensely — and sure there’s a risk with creating a new IP. But think about it for a second: Hideo Kojima working on something totally new….I can already feel the anticipation building.
Still, it might not happen. It’s at TGS he said he’ll probably just work on MGS5, so we’ll have to wait and see.

don’t matter to me, whatever kojima does im sure it will be awesome
Indeed. Bring it on!
Doesn’t matter to me, it’s Kojima, so it’ll be awesome!
or maybe a survival horror?
that would be so cool, revive the genre and do it with the best developer in the industry!
He wouldn’t do a horror.
eh, you never know maybe a little persuasion will change that.
Nothing beats a trial but a failure, right?
