Halo: Reach Rakes In $200 Million On Day One

No, my friend, you’re not suffering with eye problems, you read the headline right. Halo: Reach’s now officially the biggest grossing piece of entertainment this year.

Bigger than any movie, game or anything else according to Phil Spencer, Corporate VP of Microsoft Games Studios.

He continued speaking loud boasts of how great the game’s done thus far: over $200 million in day one sales. That’s just ludicrous.

    Yeah, not surprising. With the lack of exclusives coming out for the xbox and the popularity of Halo. I expected it to do this good.

    halo 3 made 170 million in 24 hrs. So, i am sure it did that good since the install base is even bigger now. Also, modern warfare 2 made over 300 million in 24 hrs.
