Insomniac Boss: “Resistance 3 Will Be The Best Game We’ve Ever Done”

It’s passed two years since Resistance 2 came out, and a lot have happened since that time. Ted Price, Insomniac Games boss, admitted they made a few mistakes with the aforementioned, noting the team tried to bite off more than they could chew.

But the older you grow, the more you learn, and learning so much from Resistance 2, Ted Price believes Resistance 3 will be the best game they’ve ever made.

“Resistance 3 is a three-year project and it’s already benefiting from that enormously,” Price said when asked by EGM magazine if they were taking more time with the third installment of the popular franchise.

“We took all those lessons and criticism from Resistance 2 to heart, and applied them to Resistance 3 and I think it will be the best game we’ve ever done.”

Looking at the screens that were leaked, and the details coming from the latest issue of GameInfomer magazine, I think it’s safe enough agree with the man.

The game comes out next year exclusively for the PS3.

    well i hope his studio can deliver this claim, especially after the let down resistance 2 was.

    Yeah, but I believe they will, there’s a ton more in that interview that I’ll be releasing in time. Just awesome, Ted Price is.

    i just wish they could change the story.
    war is suppose to be about heros, standing up to the ods and either winning against immense odds, or at least going down with honor.
    id much rather go out fighting, than hiding like a coward!

    Well, the man’s a married man with kids. When you love in love suddenly war’s not that important any longer…. You never know, the story could really turn out to be something…

    How are you guy going to dog on R2 that was a great game graphics were beautiful, game play was fun action pack compared to all the other FPS Resistance I feel is on top of the game when you play the “call of duty” series such as Modern Warfare2 and Black Ops the story is way to short the only reason the game gets so many sales is the online play now Zombies in Black Ops well me as a gamer i like a little variety, and that what Resistance3 will bring i don’t know about you but i get tired of running in circles killing people i would like to kick it up a notch “like Emeril” and shoot some aliens and fight huge bosses like the leviathan in R2, That kinda where the Halo series stood “I really did not like Halo but there was at least a story and a game that lasted longer then a few hours “MW2 & Black Ops. So R3 is going to rock out!!!
