Remember the two former Infinity Ward bosses, Vince Zampella and Jason West? Yeah, well those two guys have now formed their own studios, Respawn Entertainment. A deal with EA Partners has already been realized, and according to Pachter, the first title out the door will be a new space shooter.
He said this on the lastest episode of his show on Game Trailers TV: Pach-Attack.
“One genre that hasn’t been cloned a lot is the space shooter, so I’m going to make a prediction the ex-Infinity Ward guys, Respawn Entertainment will make a Halo killer, a game which will take the form of a space shooter,” Pachter said.

these guys have spent their whole life making war games in COD, so i wont be surprised if there next game is another war styled game.
i hope its not though, im really getting sick of shooters!
what id like to see them do is a open world game like scarface the world is yours but with new fictional characters.
same style as scarface as in same gameplay, same drug trafficking buying and selling and distributing, buying fronts all that stuff.

i really enjoy shooters, especially open world ones like mafia 2 or GTA.

just like any other genre, you need to push forward, innovate the genre and push in new ideas.
True, and especially with stories. For some reason, these devs don’t do stories in there shooters O-o….
