It’s Sony’s Turn To Steal from Microsoft At E3

For the past few years, Microsoft has dropped bombshells on the gaming industry by revealing what were once Sony exclusives could now be played on the Xbox 360. Some of the most notable ones are Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, and the grand slam Final Fantasy XIII. But the tables have turned, as it seems there are no more notable games left that Microsoft could grab away, since what’s remaining are owned by Sony.

There are, however, a few games exclusive to the Xbox 360 that have been rumored will find their way on to PS3. And while nothing is confirmed yet, Sony has said it has some big announcements to be shared at E3.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 on PS3 are the most talked about titles that many have gotten hints will be revealed at E3. And why not? Bioware is now owned by EA, and EA has no interest in limiting its install base just to please one segment of the market; the publishing giant is after earnings. The questions have been asked many times and neither EA nor Bioware have come out and completely banish the rumor.

Splinter Cell: Conviction will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC in April and Ubisoft has more than once refuted claims that its stealth action title will one day come to PS3. Thing is, despite all the giant’s denials, the game keep showing up in different locations, see here and there, listed as also coming to PS3. Are the listings just coincidence? My mom once said to me that if I happen to see smoke out in the distance, journey closer and the fire will become apparent.

Sony has seen a lot of its system sellers head over to its main nemesis, and now it seems as if the tables are turning. Mid June, E3 is be live and we’ll cover all the news as it breaks, expect to hear something about the two aforementioned titles in a big way.

For crying out loud Bioware has too said many times that ME@ will not be coming to PS3. For crying outloud they did a big interview just to explaine why it wouldn’t I am so damn tired of gaming sites saying that they never said it. As soon as I find a link to that interview I am posting it here.

Bioware has been back and fourth on the situation, so coming here and posting your links won’t do much… I have a feeling it’ll come. Nice article btw.

@newyearnewrule: How about the fact that that new came out a few months before the article I posted. They were thinking about it but wont do it now. To me its just sony fanboys getting their hopes up. Even when they say “no its not” all the fanboys continue saying “yes it will.” Just shows their stubbornness and arrogance.

GTA was a PC game, MGS and FF were Nintendo games… I think the stealing was done long ago.
