Will these rumors ever die? I think not. For years now, literally, talk has been raging concerning a PS3 version of Splinter Cell: Conviction that is supposedly in the works, but Ubisoft just refuses to let loose the truth because of certain constraints.
We brought you our own rumor when Blockbuster listed the game as also coming to PS3 alongside PC and Xbox 360. Now according to PlayStationlifestyle, citing Ubisoft Montreal lead software engineer, Marc Demers LinkedIn profile which lists the game as coming to three formats, it would seem there’s hope, even if a glimmer but it’s still hope that the game will make it to PS3 indeed.
You know how the game is played in this industry, Ubisoft will come out and say it was just a mistake (and it could be), and Marc Demers will most likely remove the PS3 listing, he already did.
It’s a wait and see situation now.
