Final Fantasy XIII will hit western store shelves on March 9th, and according PlayStation: The Official Magazine, who had a chance to try the game out, it’s “one of the most visually rich games to ever grace PS3.”
“Main Characters Lightning, Snow, Sazh, and friends are rendered in such detail that you can see the lines on their lips and the patterns on the soles of their shoes,” the mag wrote.
“There’s still a confusingly grand plot peppered with the inter-character bickering across the opening hours though, don’t worry. It’s still classic Final Fantasy.”
PTOM added: “It’s stuffed with cutscenes so lengthy they can be paused or skipped, with handy save points presented at the end. In a series that has been famed for its eye candy, FFXIII is one of the most visually rich games to ever grace PS3.”
It’ll be available for PS3 and Xbox 360, with the latter getting a Super Elite Bundle to boot. None has been announced for PS3, but as soon as news break, we’ll bring it to you.

haha. Hasn’t every game that has been coming out for the ps3 lately been Visually impressive.
Fixed : )
You know you’re right about that Keck. I guess devs are clearly getting a hold of it: PS3. Finally.
It does look beautiful and i don’t care what the biased, western reviewers say, this is the biggest home console RPG of all time. Borderlands, Bioshock and Mass Effect can go to hell, Final Fantasy is a REAL RPG.
