Just like Halo: Reach on the Xbox 360, God of War III on PS3 is a must have title. Recently, scans from Famitsu, a Japanese games magazine, was leaked unto the internet and from the moment gamers beheld them, all else became history. Hype for God of War III is now blazing passed the heavens and with good reason; these scans are absolutely gorgeous. So it’s understandable why gamers can’t wait until mid March for what is shaping up to be an epic conclusion between Kratos and the gods. So like we treated our Xbox 360 community, we’ll do the same for our PS3 base. These four games should quench your thirst until God of War III is released.
Dante’s Inferno: There’s A Love Story Somewhere In Here

Yes indeed. Remember when Kratos murdered his beautiful wife and child without even knowing it? Well Dante has a similar story to tell. He didn’t kill his wife but what he did is almost equivalent in magnitude; he betrayed her and has embarked on a journey to rectify the situation.
What better way to remember love Kratos style than playing Dante’s Inferno? None. Many have accused it of being a God of War clone to which game director Jonathan Knight says “its an honor”, the man does not feel bad about it and neither you should. Dante’s Inferno should quench your thirst until God of War III arrives.
Darksiders: Remember your darks side

Kratos is not a good guy. Let’s get that out of the way from the onset. The man practically sold his soul to the gods and when he realized his folly, although seemingly too late, changed his course to a more noble one. Darksiders in many ways is like God of War III, in fact Vigil games admitted to playing GoWIII to make sure they were not borrowing too many ideas from the legendary franchise. Seriously, if you want to feel like a real bad man while Kratos is not available to fill said position, then Darksiders is your call.
Bayonetta: Really?

Bayonetta came from left field and has taken center stage; a game so fresh and fulfilling you’ll want to play it over and over again. She’s a fallen angel seeking revenge, Kratos is a betrayed warrior seeking revenge, look at the two a little closer and you’ll recognize they have a lot in common. Bayonetta has more style and flash than Kratos but don’t let that fool you, she’ll take you out before you can blink with some of the outlandish combos and summons she performs. Think she and Kratos would make good couple? That’s your call.
Bayonetta is out now, God of War III not until mid March, allow the pretty lady to help you with that thirst problem you’re suffering from. She’ll do a great job.
God of War Collection Pack:

And last but definitely not least, there is indeed no better way to prepare for God of War III than playing parts one and two in anticipation of three. Oh yes, getting nostalgic, reacquaint yourself with the story, getting your combos right and preparing your mind to deal with and solve the many puzzles that’ll hinder your path. We recommend you go out and purchase this package if you haven’t already, it will be money well spent.
And there you have it, a list of games to play while you wait for the inevitable. In the end, there will be only chaos.
Don’t have a PS3? We want to give you one bundled with Uncharted 2 for free!! Get it here.

Yes some Dante’s Inferno and God of War Collection pack don’t sound too bad at all.
Throw in a little Darksiders and we’re singing the same song. lol. Come on March!!! Get here already!
Unfortunately for me the GOW Collection isn’t coming out in the UK until the same day as GOW 3 and since Darksiders doesn’t appeal to me and Bayonetta is garbage the only game i’ll have to keep me busy until March will be Dante’s Inferno.
Still, i guess that’s better than nothing, Dante’s Inferno does look awesome.
Bayonetta > Dante’s Inferno
No love for Darksiders guys? It’s an awesome game!
