Respawn Entertainment, the newly formed studio of former Infinity Ward bosses, Jason West and Vince Zampella, is hiring. The new team’s trying hard to get themselves organized, looking for talent from wherever it can be found.
They found two at Sony Santa Monica.
According to NowGamer, both Justin Hendry and Robert Taube, formerly of Sony’s Santa Monica studio, have updated their LinkedIn profiled showing that they’re now at Respawn Entertainment.
We have no idea what the new studio’s working on, but we’d bet at least $1,000 that it’s a shooter. Why? Well that’s what Infinity Ward is best known for, and since Jason West and Vince Zampella left, over a dozen followed. Hopefully we’ll get some information soon.
hope its not a shooter, not only because were saturated in them, but also because id be nice to see their take on another genre.
they mastered the shooter, so why not take on something a little different?
True. But it’s risky. I’d say establish yourself with another shooter, make a billion and then move on.
