So you’ve beaten Dragon Age: Origins, and now you’re awaiting the release of yet another RPG from Bioware, Mass Effect 2. As if those two titles were not enough to quench your RPG thirst, Bioware wants you to know they’re already hard at work developing Mass Effect 3. They don’t play around do they?
“We are already at work on Mass Effect 3,” the game’s project manager, Casey Hudson, told IGN. Building the first bits of the story, putting that together.”
Hudson goes on to reassure players that some DLC will be released for Mass Effect 2 while they await the conclusion of what has been an amazing experience so far. he also promised an “intense” lineup of DLC to be made available right after the game is released.
“We always want to make sure we have the entire trilogy of games done within this console’s life cycle. We didn’t want to take forever with it,” Hudson said. “So we definitely want to make Mass Effect 3 a short turnaround but also being that it needs to be a tremendous and epic conclusion to the trilogy.”
So Mass Effect 3 will be on Xbox 360 and not Microsoft’s next console? That’s a good sign, at least for those of us who don’t see the need for new systems just yet. Also, Mr. Hudson promised an epic conclusion to the trilogy, Mass Effect 2 is not even out yet and already we’re putting medal to the pedal of Mass Effect 3 engine?

I hope they don’t rush it too much.
They can release the game fast and still not rush it. Why? Bioware must know the Xbox 360 in and out by now.
