come on you have to be living in a cave in the middle of pluto sleeping 23 hours a day 7 days a week to not know what diablo is!
really changed the dungeon crawler and really RPG game in general to the day we know it!
we wouldent have so many franchises we take for granted today if it was not for diablo!
scary to believe that such a small team came up with it, i mean yeah 2 years into development blizzard bought them out but the original concept, original idea came from such a small studio!
just goes to show why back in those days games were so idealistic and well original.
not because back then nothing had been done, but back then teams were so small so everyone had a design say.
today though, well, you certainly dont hear of a group of 6 people making a PC game very often now do you?
as the saying goes too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the soup.
id be interesting to see how much the design and concept of games changed if every studio was stripped down to 10 employees like they were back then.

Didn’t know that. I hope the original guys are still at Blizzard.
