Valve is one of the most recognizable and respected developers in the gaming industry, so there’s no question that if the game goes public, its value would appreciate instantly. The studio, however, refuses to make the move, citing the fear of intervention in creative decisions by shareholders.
And so just like the image above, Valve keeps on running away.
