“Arc” Is Not Sony’s Motion Controller Name
Just today we heard news from THQ that Sony’s motion controller device is PS3 Arc, that’s according to company CEO Brian Farell who repeatedly referred to peripheral as the PlayStation Arc.
Well according to Geoff Keighley, Sony’s motion controller is NOT named Arc.
“FYI I’m hearing Arc is NOT the name of Sony motion controller, but a code name,” Geoff tweeted.
So here we go again, another roller coaster ride and I suspect until the thing is official announced, we’ll hear varying stories.

Sony has been on a role lately, first the company has been talking high about its profits made in the third quarter mostly from strong PlayStation 3 sales, and they also had good things to say about the “Arc” Controller and how it’ll be supported with a decent amount of games at launch.

It almost seemed impossible that Sony would be able to release its Motion Controller this spring as Kaz Hirai said last year, especially when you take into consideration all else the company has going on with the PS3 at the moment. Including the system’s stellar lineup in said season and the fact that the giant might want to add more games to the motion controller’s roster, not surprising.
