If you have a PS4 and you’ve been checking out “Live on PlayStation”, where you’re able to watch gamers stream games via Twitch and U-Stream, you would have noticed a strange, popular and disconcerting phenomenon.
A massive amount of “gamers” are not only streaming their games online using Twitch and U-Stream, but with Sony’s new PlayStation Camera’s “Playroom”, these folks are starting to stream all sorts of craziness. You have young women stripping naked, showing off breasts, “twerking” and doing almost anything those who watch their livestream ask.
It’s been a wild and wacky ride, and like I said, very popular. In fact, some are calling PS4′s “Live on PlayStation” feature a system seller, as it’s creating a buzz unlike any other. The porn needs to go, though.
So thank goodness that Twitch is cracking down strongly by banning a plethora of TOS violators swiftly. A number of tweets from the company explain why they’re doing this.
On Reddit, however, a thread has emerged claiming that Twitch isn’t doing background checks before they ban users, and because of this some gaming-only related channels had been axed.
Have you been livestreaming your games? What about watching livestreams? I’ve been doing the latter a lot.
