Sony announced at GamesCom yesterday that PS4 will have Twitch TV support, bringing the total social outlets via which your gameplay footage can be shared to three: Twitch, U-Stream and Facebook. YouTube was once mentioned by Mark Cerny, however Sony hasn’t given confirmation.
After linking their consoles to Twitch, players will simply need to press the Share button on the PS4 controller to upload gameplay. If players prefer to spectate instead of uploading their own footage, there’ll be an app available for that functionality as well.
Microsoft’s Xbox One also has Twitch TV support, however no other social platform has been confirmed.
