EA Says Titanfall Is “Masterpiece” It Couldn’t Produce

EA games has said that Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall is the top game from its partners program, adding that it’s a title that they couldn’t produced themselves.

The publisher revealed this to Japanese site 4Gamer in an interview:

The number of titles under the label EA Partners is lower than before, but this is only temporary. We don’t use the definition much, but the program itself continues. Titanfall by Respawn Entertainment that we presented this year at E3 is the masterpiece of EA Partners. Titanfall is made by an extraordinary team and it’s not a game that we could make ourselves.

Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall is set for a spring 2014 release on PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. But while it’s still pinned as an Xbox One exclusive on next-gen consoles, we believe the multiplayer-only shooter will eventually come to PS4. Respawn knows it.
