If you thought EA had played all its card when FIFA 14, Dragon Age 3 and Battlefield 4 were revealed, you’re in for a nice surprise come E3 2013, the publisher has made known.
Speaking to investors in a financial call, President of The EA Labels Frank Gibeau revealed that there will be lots more to be shown at E3, including new games.
[EA is] planning a full reveal at E3, including more next-generation titles in development for fiscal ’14. This will include breakthroughs in graphics and gameplay for some of our biggest franchises, including Battlefield, FIFA, Madden, NBA Live and Need for Speed. [We will] unveil new titles from EA SPORTS, BioWare and DICE, and a first look at some brand new games.
So some new games from EA’s top developers? That sounds excellent. Many fans have been calling for Mirror’s Edge 2 from DICE, and the developer has hinted many times that there might just be something in the making. As for Bioware and EA Sports, we’ll have to wait and see what they’ve been cooking all this time. E3 2013 happens in June.
