Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Hit By Denial Of Service Attack

Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Hit By Denial Of Service Attack

If you’ve been trying to play Battlefield 3′s multiplayer and have thus far not been successful, it’s because the game’s servers have willfully been hit by DOS, or Denial of Service attacks.

EA revealed the situation via a tweet:

The current BF3 and Battelog outages are a result of activity that appears to be aimed at overwhelming our game servers.

Thank you for being understanding. We are going to try our best to get everyone back onto the battlefield as soon as possible.

The situation is still ongoing, but updates will be given via official channels, including the Battlefield twitter handle.

“Thanks for your patience!” EA concluded.

We’ll keep you posted.

Lol you’re an idiot. Yes, the multi million dollar company allowed this because they have too much money and don’t want more. Willfully = someone targeted the EA servers and not that it was random. Goof.
