Games Thirst – Amazing Life
PS4 will have the best launch lineup any PlayStation console has even seen, architect Mark Cerny has made known in a recent interview.
Speaking to Gamasutra, Cerny said it’ll take weeks, not months to port games to the new console, adding that the massive launch lineup has been a result of ease of use or, in his own words, “familiarity”.
The launch line-up for PlayStation 4 – though I unfortunately can’t give the title count – is going to be stronger than any prior PlayStation hardware. And that’s a result of that familiarity.
This as Microsoft confirmed the reveal of its new console, but making sure to point out that not much will be revealed on that day in the way of games, as it’ll save software discussions for E3 2013, occurring 19 days later.
