Xbox 720 launch title?

Microsoft and Turn are looking for a qualified person to help build what the job listing calls “the next version of Forza Motorsport”.

The description demands that the winning applicant “be a strong senior software engineer to own the testing of our multiplayer networking system.”

Furthermore, “you’ll be working directly with your counterparts in dev, design, and PM to design and build a secure, reliable and scalable multiplayer system. You will also be responsible for efficiently leveraging contingent staff to accomplish your tasks.”

QUALIFICATIONS:
- See each challenge as opportunity to grow your skills and your career.
- Think outside of the box
- A true passion for gaming and games.
- Be able to prioritize and balance the decision of automation versus manual testing
You’ll also need:
- 5+ years of experience in testing/dev
- 2+ years using your coding skills as your primary approach to testing (C++ and C#)
- Experience with client-server and peer-to-peer networking topologies.
- Familiarity with different network traffic over the internet (packet sniffing, network quality emulation, monitoring, routers, UDP and TCP experience)
- Demonstrated proficiency in cross group and discipline collaboration
- Ability to accurately estimate the work required to meet your commitments, and then appropriately recruit and manage contingent staff to meet them.
Nice to have but not required:
- Experience with automating a large number of machines.
- Experience in game development
- A passion for all things automotive

Do you have what it takes? Then by all means hit answer the call!
