First Resident Evil 6 Review Says Its A “Resident Evil Worthy Of Modern Times”

The first Resident Evil 6 trailer has gone live courtesy UK’s Play Magazine, giving the game resounding marks and hailing it as one of console’s best co-op experiences.

According to NowGamer, the latest issue of Play Magazine goes on sale Thursday and features a six-page review of RE6, describing the latest effort as “a Resident Evil worthy of modern times.”

This is arguably the best co-op game available on PS3 alongside Borderlands 2.

Resident Evil 6 sees a release October 2nd on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

In conclusion, the magazine wrote:

While long-term Resident Evil fans might still be disappointed by the nod towards action over horror, Capcom finally has the confidence and know-how to pull it off. It’s big, it’s brutal, it’s ballsy and most of all, it’s back.
